With a long history in industrial fabrication dating back to the early 1970s, Kolmark is recognized as the leading Stainless Steel fabricator in Tasmania taking on complex and difficult projects from the dairy to wine to mining industries.
When local distiller George Burgess from Southern Wild Distillery approached them to build a new copper spirit still he had designed, a core and passionate team took the challenge of creating the best liquor still possible. Working closely with George they worked tirelessly until everyone was satisfied and they had a new model for a traditional piece of machinery.
Knowing how they could do things better, and having people knocking down their door, Stillsmiths was formed. The company is proudly Tasmanian owned and operated with a team of highly skilled and dedicated workforce of over 30 personnel, delivering designs, fabrication and installation to the highest professional standard.
